Personal Injury



Gaurang's Personal Injury work focuses principally on employer's liability for trade union solicitors including industrial disease cases, other work-place accidents. He also does extensive public liaiblity and RTA work.  More recently occupational disease has occupied the majority of his PI practice, in particular deafness, WRULD, VWF/HAVS and asbestos.



General Commercial



General commercial work including partnership and co-ownership disputes, construction, professional negligence and banking customer disputes.



Fraud - Civil and Criminal



He has extensive experience in many types of commercial frauds, including:

Invoice factoring fraud;

Mortgage fraud;

Various insurance frauds;

Franchising fraud,



and injunctions, other pre-emptive remedies and related proceedings.



His practice encompasses both civil and criminal fraud. He defends and prosecutes serious fraud cases. He is regularly instructed by the Serious Fraud Office.



Other



Gaurang was a Lecturer in Law in 1985. He regularly lectures internally and to Chambers' PI solicitors.
