Civil
Lycia enjoys a wide range of civil work, from personal injury and employment to contractual disputes, and reguarly represents claimants and defendants. She has experience in writing advices and drafting pleadings in a broad range of civil fields.
She has conducted a large number of successful trials, even when against the odds, and is an effective negotiator when required.
Criminal
Lycia has acted in numerous cases in the magistrates' courts, appearing both on behalf of defendants and prosecuting authorities. She also has conducted a number of hearings in the crown court. She enjoys all areas of criminal law and is known to build a good rapport with her clients. She looks forward to building up her practice in the years to come.
Family
Lycia has a particular interest in family law, both private and public. She enjoys both ancillary relief and children law in the private sector and has acted for local authorities, parents and children in public care proceedings. Having received the top first for her degree in Experimental Psychology at Bristol University, she is good at understanding and working with all nature of clients in what is often a very distressing time for them.
