Tenancy

Are you ambitious for your practice, or concerned about being isolated?  Is your income below expectation and ability?  Perhaps you are looking for leadership and management or maybe you simply want to be with like minded people who can help you develop your practice.

We have a policy of gradual expansion and have acquired new premises next to our modern facilities just off Fleet Street.  We want to hear from practitioners at all levels of call with experience in our practice areas and especially:

  • Clinical Negligence
  • Employment
  • Family
  • General Crime
  • Personal Injury
  • Police Disputes

Applicants under 5 years call would need to demonstrate outstanding potential or unique experience in a specialist area. To make a formal application you will need to:

  • show a track record of building a successful practice
  • be prepared to support your application with financial data
  • offer referees for ability in court and on a personal basis

Your application should be in writing, preferably by email, to our Chief Executive, Fiona Robb with whom you may arrange an informal discussion as a first step.  All applications will be handled in strict confidence; no information will be divulged without your consent.

To support your application, please provide the following information:

If your application has merit you will be asked to attend one (possibly two) formal interviews with a panel of members and if taken forward, an informal meeting is arranged for you to be introduced to all members.  Our final decision to offer a tenancy is by all members of Chambers, usually at a Chambers meeting.

We recognise confidentiality is a pre-requisite, promise a speedy response and a fast track process for the right applicants.
