Cases
Mountenay v Bernard Matthews; 9 chicken processors suffering from various WRULDs. Alexander v Midland Bank; 5 bank employees who developed diffuse WRULD. Jones v Metal Box plc; The senior civil judge in the Cardiff County Court ruled in on 11th January 2007 that employers should have eliminated asbestos dust in their factory within at most 8 months of the “watershed” Sunday Times article of 31st October 1965. This issue has not been considered by the courts before and will pave the way for other successful claims relating to exposure to asbestos in the 1960s. Top |
