John Jones appears on Radio 4 Today programme to talk about his catastrophic neck injury following an assault by a bouncer. Grahame Aldous QC and Dan Lawson represented him in his successful claim against the night club.

John Jones was paralyzed from the neck down after a night club bouncer grabbed him in a full nelson and wrestled him to the ground in a student nightclub in Southampton.

In a claim where insurance cover was in issue as well as liability, Grahame Aldous QC and Dan Lawson from 9 Gough Square succeeded in getting a significant settlement to provide care for John Jones.

To mark the introduction of new training requirements for bouncers, Radio 4’s Today programme on 1st June 2010 interviewed John Jones about his experience at the hands of the bouncer. Although the bouncer ended up in prison, John Jones will live the rest of his life unable to use his limbs.
